| I suggest wood chips for paths, not straw. They last several years, don't blow away, don't have weed seeds, not so easy for critters to nest in it. And it's cheap. For $20 I get a full-size pickup bed overflowing with it from Amherst compost facility. If you want to mulch your garden, and not your paths, I suggest getting compost, also from Amherst. Attached is a link. Do not confuse straw and hay. Straw is much better than hay, hay is full of weed seeds. |
