Hey all I am back but don't know if I can stay logged in or not this time. For some reason my security suite is not recognizing cookies for some sites. Anyway I am here for the moment.

I just want to say that I hope to have at least one different hummer plant for our plant swap this year too...Dicliptera suberecta aka King's Crown Oh and hopefully some Chilean Glory Vine and maybe Hesperaloe parviflora aka False Red Yucca.

Hey GG I don't check in as much as I probably should with everything else going on and then when I do I have been having problems off and on. Looking forward to seeing eveyone again in June. I hope that I can keep this vine going until the swap. It is a little tricky and now that it is starting to warm up and the days getting longer it is beginning to grow like crazy. I am trying to keep it in bounds for a while longer but it may have a mind of its own. I think it grew 3 or 4 inches in the last two days! If all else fails I will try to bring some seed.

Hi Penny! I thought of you when I was down in Key Largo visiting my dad. His Dracena was blooming(it is a tree, lol) and a hummer was visiting it. I wish I could of gotten a pic.

We just got back from Florida last week end from visiting my FIL. He isn't quite as far south as your dad. He is in Deerfield Beach up by Ft. Lauderdale (I think). Now I didn't see any hummers but I did my darndest to bring back some cuttings of awsome hummer plants. I am trying to get them to root now. I was going to buy some plants if I could have found small 3 or 4 inch pots but they were all gallon sized for $2.99! I was going absolutely out of my mind the prices of plants down there was so cheap! The few plants that I did see in 3 inch pots were only 99 cents. If we had driven down I would have loaded the care up to the brim with plants.
