The cyclamen bulb I planted early last spring is coming up!!! I thought it was a goner, and even mistook a potato plant from compost as it. Then I just gave up. And what do you know. I'm cleaning out the bed where I planted it last year, and there it is, the tell tale, dark green heart shaped leaves with the distinct white markings on them. I'm so excited!!

And--

Two hellebores I thought were goners are both sprouting new leaves. They showed no signs of life late last summer. Now, they have healthy bright green leaves popping out of the dirt, about four inches high now. So instead of having two hellebores, I have four! Yippeee! And one I bought last year to replace them has blooms!
