 o
Peonies' Bloom status

I am in Virginia, and wondering what the bloom status of my Coxsackie peonies is. We need a bit of extra money and I want to know when I should come home to harvest them for sale in the city. They are somewhat shaded and bloom a bit later than most. They are probably Sarah Bernhardts. What are your peonies doing?

Thanks for any help!!!!
Lisa

The fernleaf hybrid, which blooms early, is starting to show color. The Sarah Bernhardts may be as long as two weeks away. I'm across the river from Kingston.

I only have buds, and I'm much farther away than mad gallica.

Thanks for the update. Peonies were finished here last week, but the roses are amazing and have been blooming beautifully for at least three weeks. We have had many inches of rain and another 1/2 inch is falling this am. The strawberries are waterlogged and yucky.
