Does anyone know of anywhere around Albany (I am actually in Schodack, Rensselare County) that has bulk compost. I have read a lot of threads where towns have composting facilities, I just do not know of any around me.

Bethlehem has a great compost site. They are located on route 32 a couple of mile south of the bypass near the GE plant. You can get compost and wood chips.

The one in Albany is on the road that HucK Finns warehouse is on just further down the road. I believe its Erie Blvd.
If you didn't try your local town hall for info I would try that , they usually do some composting or will refer you to the nearest municipality.Good luck. Kareen
