Hungarian Lilacs?

donicaben

A couple of years ago I ordered lilacs from Arbor Day. I ordered a Fragrant and a Pekin.

Both are alive, though not flowering yet (I've read that it can take 3-5 years to see flowers). The Pekin has normal heart-shaped leaves. The fragrant, however, does not.

It also doesn't start sprouting leaves until this time of the year (my Pekin has leaves all over it). I'm wondering (hoping) if they mistakenly sent the third type of lilac they sell, Hungarian.

Are Hungarian lilacs late to sprout leaves? And do their leaves differ from the classic lilac leaf? Any info appreciated.
