mine are still doing ok but not for long, I'm sure. The only thing I can think to try is the breathable row covers (to shield them from the harsh sun) and lots of water. Who knew that we'd be having this happen this early!

I'll look forward to fall when the weather is better for cool-weather crops... in the meantime... peppers and tomatoes!!!!!!!!

Thanks for answering. For some weird reason the spinach bolted but the lettuce looks fine. . . . Oh well.

About what time in the late summer/fall do you usually start your cool weather crops again?

I depends, I don't usually get too scientific about it, I'll just wait until the nights are starting to get cooler, maybe early September?

We need to eat BIG salads tonight so that I can use up all the lettuce we've grown! It looks good still, and now I hear the forecast is cooler...
