| I spent last night inside drooling over some catalogs I got in the spring. Couldn't garden- too chilly and rainy out.
This morning went on the net and to my surprise White Flower Farm was having a nice sale on their lilies. I got 15 lilies for $1.25 each. Thought that was a great price. I haven't ordered from them before because I find their prices to be a bit higher than other places. Seems like they're trying to clear out some things to make way for fall bulbs. | In general, I exclusively order fall-planted bulbs from White Flower. Yes, they are a bit more expensive sometimes, but I have only received quality bulbs from them - never a dead bulb, and they have all come back strong and healthy year after year. I expected that this year, I would have some die-back, as some of the lilly bulbs are in their 5th year, but surpringly, some of the bulbs split ! So, I would be confident in anything you get from White Flower. Have Fun ! |
