Growing Tomatoes From Seed Now

booberry85

Has anyone had any luck starting tomatoes from seed in June and still getting a crop in August or September or before first frost? Is that wishful thinking?

I have 4 varieties I'm going to try. I just got the seeds today though. So a put a few in soil and watered and promptly put outside to enjoy the warm sunshine. I'll be bringing them in tonight though. One is an early season (no date given though, just labeled "extremely early") one is mid season (72 days) and one is late season (80 days). The last one is unknown. It's just labeled "New Tomato." The maturity dates are all for seedlings though, not from seed.
