Great Gardens in Finger Lakes Area Plse?

Hi yall,

good friend is coming to the fingerlakes NY area this summer and wants good gardens to visit (including any nurseries w/ great display gardens) Any suggestions? Thanks for your help,

    Cornell Plantations in Ithaca should be a must. Two nurseries in the area are Baker's Acres and the Plantsmen Nursery. In Pittsford Oriental Supply has quite a selection of plants, but only a small display area. If you come down Painted Post way to see the Corning Museum of Glass, you would be welcome to see my woodland garden.

    There is also Miller Nurseries in Canandaigua, I have never been there but have read good things about them. They sell lots of fruit trees, trees and bushes.
