Drops of Gold Japanese Holly...

Hello all.

Not new to GW, just haven't posted much in this particular forum, although I'm not sure why since Upstate NY is where I live (outside of Rochester) and I've done a lot of plantings over the years..

I have a question about the Drops of Gold Japanese Holly. They are very attractive but I'm not confident of their durability here. Are these durable enough to handle our winters?

I've purchased 3 of these at a popular local garden store who stated I wouldn't have issues with them assuming I took care of them like any other similar plant but am now questioning myself on the purchase.

Any experience with these?

Thank you for any insights you can provide.
