Need Help!

| Hi Everyone, Sure hope someone can give me some info. I was just doing some weeding, it stopped raining long enough to do that, and found a bunch of 8-10 inch seedlings from my neighbors Rose of Sharon bush growing in my garden. This is from a neighbor who will never share seeds with anyone. Sure made me feel good.
Can I move some of them to different spots, or should I put them in pots and wait until fall.I'm in West Seneca, if anyone would like some.
Thanks,
Barb |

| Why not do both. It is still pretty cool so you probably could transplant them without a problem although I wouldn't put them in direct sunlight. Just make sure that you keep them moist until they get established. Penny |

| Thanks Penny, that's what I thought. I just wanted to hear it from someone else. Barb |

| I have volunteer shoots of Rose of Sharon throughout my garden. I try to pull most of them up in spring, but when I don't get to them they are woody by August and too tough to remove. They are the hardiest flowers I have ever seen! |

| For your situation, since they are seedlings, I'd do about anything with them at this stage. I have about 22 shrubs (about 3' high) prior homeowners planted on a fence line (literally about 2 inches away). Since they are in bloom now, I'm waiting until next month to move. |
