Help with identifing

I need help with this flower/ I wintersowed the seeds. The packet said it was a daisy.Last year I only had the plants the leaves were a silver green and very large and long. This year they started off the same way but then a stalk grew from the center and the leaves then looked like it was from a thistle plant. This brown bud formed and it looks like a straw flower. Soon afterward this bright yellow flower emerged and it looks like a double dandelion flower. I do not know how to post a picture so can anyone help me?????

www.bluestoneperennials. I have one of these plants and everyone is always amazed be it.

Von thank you . I have about 15 of them. They are not growing in the right place as I did not know what they were so will have to transpant them in the spring. They are so unusual.
