My brother moved from the Adirondacks to North Carolina and he now plants pansies when he'd normally be digging himself out of a snowbank. Have fun in your new temperature zone.

I've fantasized about moving south, to be in Zone 8 or 9. i'd love to be able to grow exotics outdoors year-round. Good luck and have a good time.

Honestly, Waplummer, I didn't think we'd move either. I thought this was just a passing thought on a boring day. We live in his parents house and I really enjoy it. I've finally been able to do greenhouse growing for my spring flowers. That was pretty special to me.
I do still look around the livingroom in the evening and know I'll miss living here. I loved having a fireplace. I know there will be major adjustments but now I'm looking forward to it. It's a new adventure.
