fall thinning&transplanting

| am planning on re-doing a section of my flower garden. it is right next to the woods in my yard.will be removing wanted plants,thinning & weeding,roto-tilling and mulching.plants are mostly hardy perenials.planning on early-mid september.will they make it through the buffalo(grand island) winter? |

I usually start moving, dividing plants as soon as it cools down so that they have as much time as possible to get reestablished before the cold weather sets in. I have done some in mid Sept. and they did fine. Penny |

| I also move plants in Sept. It gives them extra time to set out roots and get established before spring. shouldn't be a problem. |
