I do work out that way on occasion. Nice location! You can be in the heart of things in minutes or a 10 minute drive can put you in the country. The people I've run into have been friendly and I have not heard anything regarding crimes rates there (which I take as a good thing. You usually only hear about crime rates if they are bad). It's a bit tourist-y in the summer because of Glens Falls. The Hudson river is terribly polluted there because of the GE plant.

That's what I know about Queensbury. It really does seem like a nice community and a nice place to live.
