| I have a 3' slope, coming away from the road in front of our house, leading down to our lawn. It is troublesome to mow. Looking for some nice, low height ground cover ideas. Low maintenance would be ideal. This would be called mostly shaded from the tall maple trees at that edge of the front yard. |

| Bishop's Weed (Aegopodium), periwinkle (vinca minor), hardy ivy, and Virginia Creeper jump to mind. As long as you can mow up to the edge of them to contain them. Ask me how I know. :) If you want to come and dig a ton of variegated bishop's weed, let me know! I have a big patch that went way too far. It's so pretty. But it WILL run if you cannot mow to contain it. |
