I'm zone 5B and they bloom around May 15.

RE: globemaster allium

"Globemaster" is a great allium. It doesn't produce seeds, so it blooms a long time and doesn't seed around. The bulb does divide in half if it is happy and well-nourished, so a clump will slowly increase. Also it is long-lived.
