Too wet to plant bulbs?

We are in the midst of a terribly cool, rainy spell. We do get an occasional sunny day, but I'm certain the ground remains damp in spite of a nice day. I have 190 fabulous daffodil, crocus, and tulip bulbs that need to get into the ground. How do I pick a good day for planting. What if we have a dry spell and I plant, and then we return to almost daily rain? Spring bulbs are the most inportant flowers to me and I want to get some blooming next spring. I have never planted a lot of bulbs at one time so I haven't worried much about rain in previous years. For the most part, any bulb I planted at my old house survived and did well. I planted a few here last winter--it was really cold when I planted--and they did come up this spring. At least I know I can get daffodils out here in farm country. The soil here holds water much more than at the old house.
