Did you try Niagara County Produce? I don't know if they grow their own or not, but it's worth a shot!

They don't grow. Used to be Sanborn greenhouses grew them locally, but they got out of the poinsettia growing business.

Turns out Mischler's on South Forest in Williamsville grows their own. Didn't even think of them until today. They seem a little pricey, though, but may be in a larger pot. They have the Sonoras -- sonora red, white, pink, marble, or jingle, as well as Cortes Burgundy.

Settled for purchase at a local nursery nearby. At least some of the money stays local and the plants were very healthy, just budding up (and the buds didn't fall off), good bracts, nice shape, good variety.

Was able to get two beautiful 6" freedom bright red and two 4.5" in jingle bells and jester red. Gave away one freedom and the jester, have the other freedom on my family room coffee table and am showing off the jingle bells in the living room in an enameled cast iron Christmas tree stand that we weren't using for our artificial tree (talk about fantastic plant holders! If I am given any holiday plants in a smaller pot, I will definitely drag up the red enameled stand that's still in the basement).
