Container gardening in Emigration Canyon

| We recently moved to Emigration Canyon up from Salt Lake City and have a large afternoon sunny deck for container plants - vegetables and herbs and flowers. Does anyone have experience container gardening in the Canyon and can offer some advice or warnings?!

| Look around and ask about wind. I'm guessing from my few years at the end of the canyon that occasionally you can get winds that might tip some of your containers over unless secured. |
