free bales of hay

I was just on Craigslist.org. and someone from a church in Murray is giving away FOR FREE 7 bales of hay that hey used in their Christmas pagent.
If I still had a truck I would run down there and pick them up.
I figured someone on here might be able to use them in their garden. I know this would make great mulch for veggie bed, or a great layer or two for you lasagne beds.
To find the ad, just go to craigslist.org, then to SLC, then to FREE(that is in the middle of he page). The post was added yesterday.

| Oh, boy, I wish I could come up with some free hay or straw! There's non to be found in our area, free or otherwise. Well, there was one ad this week for someone wanting $165/ton. That's pricy. We're being very frugal with our hay this spring, as we're cutting it close quantity wise. I still see semi's leaving town loaded with hay for better markets, I guess. I hope those seven bales go to someone who appreciates the gift. How nice of the folks who placed the ad. And you, for letting all of us know about it. |
