| Well, Skooby, a quick google search for organic seeds finds lots of sources. I'm not an organic expert at all, but here's some language from one of the sites: "Certified Organic seeds are grown under conditions mandated by the National Standard for Organic Agriculture, including rigorous soil testing and the use of only approved fertilizers and pest controls." I think it has a lot to do with how the parent plants were grown and also how the seeds are treated, because sometimes seeds will be treated with chemicals. Anyway, I'm sure there are some local sources for the actual plants, Liz, but I don't know off the top of my head. Hopefully others will answer. |
