I was @ Lowes Saturday (I posted on "Hostas in UT" that it was Home Depot... opps!)
All of their bags of bulbs are 50% off!
I think this is great since ALOT of the stuff they are selling needs to be put in the ground now (instead of 6 weeks ago, when most things are clearanced)
I wanted to share that with all of you, since the stuff I bought was in excellent condition!
Blazing star, glads and lily of the valley is what I bought.
They had all kinds of things... clematis and other vines and trees too. All in little boxes.
I asked if they carried a warranty in case something failed to thrive, they said just keep the reciept.
Best to check condition of plants or bulbs while selecting them, to ensure you are starting off with healthy plants.
Make sure to prepare the soil before planting and not to over/under water.
Make sure you are putting a sun lover in the sun and a shade dweller in the shade.
