Are there fire ants in Logan, Utah?!

| I was out in my garden today and there were ants crawling around and I flicked a couple off of me without thinking anything of it at first. A little later, I went in the house and felt stinging on my arm. There was an ant on me and red bumps on my arm. Cortisone helped, but what's going on? I'm new to Utah and I've never had stinging bites from ants! |

| It's way too cold for fire ants in Logan. There might be fire ants in the far south of Utah, but that would be about it. |
