Landscape Curbing?
| | |
Posted by tweedbunny 8a (My Page) on Fri, May 4, 07 at 7:01
What business sells pre-cast concrete landscape curbing in pieces? I only need to build two flower beds and a tree ring and I don't want someone to have to come lay it custom for me. I've talked to landscapers and they've told me that Lowes or Home Depot sells it. I've been to Lowes and Home Depot and both say that they don't sell it anymore. The complex I live in has precast curb pieces placed around their landscaping that they bought years ago and can't remember where from.
Does anyone know where I can buy these?
Thanks in advance!

tweedbunny I was at Lindon Nursery yesterday, they have a lot of them in a lot of different shapes. Prices were about $10.00 ea. |

| How long were they? I can't remember the rate that the landscapers charge, but I've wondered about replacing the rock boulders we have with a curb. The grass keeps inching its way up between them. I suppose I could just use roundup, anyone else dealing with maintaining (keeping stuff from growing between and mowing next to) a moderately sized rock border? |

| I called every business in my town that lays curbing and the going rate was between $2.50-$4.00 for basic, no colors or stamping, mower style curbing. It goes up in price if you want it stamped or stained. If you need less than 100 feet, there is a set up fee which can be between $50-100. I need less than 25 feet so...buying it in pieces precast would be way less expensive. |
