Shade Trees

I have lot that has an old home on it and it does not currently have a basement. It is, in fact, mostly on a cement slab, with a small crawl space underneath part of the house. I plan to rebuild in a few years, but before I do, I want to plant some young shade trees, perhaps oak or maple. I was wondering if I should bring in some dirt and plant the trees a little bit higher than the rest of the yard, since a foundation will be dug, and the excess dirt will be spread around the lot. Should I plant the trees higher, or will it matter that the ground level will raise a little bit? We have .36 of an acre, if that helps.
