 o
100 day corn in a 3 month season

well i cheated i started my corn in the greenhouse a month before i set it out. it was a foot high then and we did not have a late frost this year.

i learned this from a gardener that lives at 6,500 feet. i live in central Utah at 5,500 feet.

i also cultivated them ever two weeks. i learned this from a gardener in Fruit Hights. it seems the more O2 in the soil the better corn grow. FH is just south of Ogden and he said he always had corn on the 24th of July. he is at 4,300 feet. greenhousing works.

our clime here is that we usually have a late frost sometimes as late as early June and and early frost like in early September. we cover our crops we can get another 2 months of production. this year is going to be great.

so i had my first corn on the 24th on July.

so for you short season gardeners here is another trick to put in your gardening bag.
