bad hail storm...garden down!

Did anyone experience the really bad hailstorm today? My garden sure did! Not only are my plants ripped to shreds. But the worst of it, blew my swing over on to one of the boxes. My greenbell pepper plants were snapped in half! And only last night I was telling the neighbor I had green peppers growing out my ears. I was giving some away and telling them there would be more. Well no more!

So very upset right now!

No hail here in Ogden, not even any rain. Sorry your garden is ruined. It's sad to have that happen.

I do know how you feel... Sorry!

A couple of years in a row, hail storms during the monsoon season damaged our gardens. Many of the apples and pears got pitted, as did some of the plums, peppers, zucchini and tomatoes, etc. So far this year no hail. We had some nice rainy days last week.

If we lived near, I'd share :)
