where to buy houseplants in SLC

| My boss has assigned me the task of populating the new office building with plants, so where in Salt Lake could we go to get a large number of good-size houseplants (deffenbachia, pothos, common stuff like that) at a good price? Any suggestions? I always get plants from trades and my own propagation, so I am clueless. Thanks. |

| Cactus and Tropical provides a service to clients in the city. Either with or without service. They have a number of people travelling through the city taking care of plants. Not cheap but good quality. |

| C&T was my first thought until I found out we can get them wholesale. We don't need anyone to take care of them because that was suddenly added to my job description. I don't mind, though, because I am going to pick plants I actually want at my house then they will need to be "pruned" when I want to take cuttings. |

| I don't know if Valley Nursery in Uintah does wholesale or not. But J & J Nursery & Garden Center in Layton does wholesale & they have house plants in 4", 6", 8" & 10", & a few in greater-sized pots. You order & they deliver. |

| I ended up getting them from Paradise Palm downtown. Nice plants, decent prices. |
