native wildflowers supplier?

Hello. Can anyone tell me where the nearest native wildflower/shrub supplier of seeds or plants is, to Bluemont VA? We are 1/2 hr from Winchester or Leesburg. I found places in Fairfax and Alexandria but was looking for something a little closer. Farmer's markets and local clubs would be great! I'm new to the area and am trying to find something to plant!

Have you tried asking at your Virginia Cooperative Extension office? They probably can tell you where to locate native plants in your area. Look up your county office in the list at the link below.

You might want to check with your local chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society (see http://vnps.org/wp/chapters/). Some chapters even have native plant sales in the spring. VNPS also has a list of native plant nurseries in Virginia as well as other states. Maybe one of these is near where you live.
