March blooming Magnolia?

I have a tree blooming in the yard right now that has blooms like a magnolia. I was told it was a lemon magnolia but I cannot find any information on this name. The flowers have a lovely lemony scent. The leaves are light green in color, not glossy green like typical Magnolias. Does anyone have any idea what this tree could be?

Magnolia virginiana, the sweet bay magnolia, has leaves that are a lighter green than the southern magnolia. Its flowers have a lemony scent. Mine is still wrapped in winter here in northern Va. I suppose that to the coastal south they might be blooming this early. Check out pictures of this tree and see if that is what you have.
