Seeking Japanese Maple advice (full sun, SE corner)

Looking for a Japanese Maple to place at the SE corner of my house in Centreville. The one I'm in love with is "Twombley's Red Sentinel" but I'm worried about the location (5-6 hours sun, wind). As an alternative, the "Autumn Moon" looks to be sun-tolerant and hardy.

Placement will be 6' distance at a 45 degree angle away from the SE corner of my house.

To save a few bucks, I was thinking about doing mail order from Davidsans btw
