Oregon resident seeks info on Juniper Virginiana Monbell

Greetings, I am hoping you can put me on the right track. I had asked my Extension office and they suggested I seek out someone on the Eastern coast given this Juniper is an Eastern native. In short, I'm wondering what it is susceptible to, what treatments are available, what are good and bad companion plants? This question arose after I considered placing an Amelanchier (aka Service Berry) next to it and the issue of rust was acknowledged.

Please, if you do not have the answer can you possibly point me in another direction for answers?

Danell, I don't have much that's helpful for you from personal experience, but there appears to be information available on this cultivar through a basic web search. Try Googling it and see what arrives.....good luck....I just thought you deserved the courtesy of a reply.
