Mine froze and died. But a friend told me that he just cuts his all the way back and puts the pot in the attic, where it never freezes, but the plant stays dormant until he brings it back out in the spring.

I just planted one, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I would imagine they probably need good drainage and a protected spot. I'd like to hear of successes with these. I sure like them and they remind me of California!

Well I decided to plant seeds Memorial day weekend. If they grow (and survive) AWESOME! If not, well it was just a few bucks.
