Richmond area garden regrowth after harsh winter

As most of yall know, this last winter was especially brutal for numerous reasons - sustained low temperatures, freezing rain, late freezes, you name it.

I've primarily been interested in gardening with perennial edibles, and in borderline zone 8 items. Quite a few of the borderline plants are gone, but there are some surprise returns.

I thought you guys might like to see a few things that have regrown by themselves, with no winter preparation or further attention at all.

You know the amaryllis have all come back and are blooming!!!
