It's So Cold!

I can't believe it. It's so darn cold here. I'm in northern VA and everyday I wake up and think, it's May. Maybe TODAY will be the day we finally break the eighty degree mark...but no! More rain tomorrow! We in northern VA have been hit very hard with rain the past month. The last thing we need is more. What we REALLY need is a week or two where the temperature rises above seventy degrees.

If last May was one of the driest on record (in this area) this has to be one of the wettest. I'm on the Va. W. Va. border. It's too cool to plant melons so I brought them back inside. My peppers & tomatoes are just sitting there. I planted them April 30.

It's supposed to be sunny this weekend... YAY!!! maybe now I'll finally get my raised beds built and my tomatoes in the ground!
