I planted some dutch lavender 2 years ago. I really didn't expect it to get this tall!! Maybe I should have planted them somewhere else instead of right in front of the front porch. Also, some of the plants have holes in the center, and have been mashed (see pictures below).

There is a large cat in the neighborhood (I call him Garfield, because the dang cat does looks like Garfield). Anyway, I'm wondering if this cat has been roaming through my lavender. It definitely appears that something has been.

I'm not sure whether or not I like them, and have been thinking of digging them up. The lavender is so pretty, but they are just so bushy and messed up. What would you do? Thanks.
