My mother is moving from PA. to virginia And I was wondering if she could just move her containers (with herbs) with her? She doesn't want to lose her plants and was thinking of harvesting them and then freezing them when she got to Virginia.

Sure she can move them. She should be aware that the sun can be a little more intense as you go south so they may need more watering or just a touch of shade. Otherwise, they should do just fine.

Yep- dig them up, and bring them down. Sometimes nurseries have left over containers to use.
