Howdy folks. Do any of you know someone in Leesburg, VA who would be willing to mow my weedy lawn? I live in an end-unit townhouse in the Exeter development and my grass is very high. Normally I mow it myself, but I took the mower to Home Depot 6 weeks ago for repair (it wouldn't start) and I don't have it back yet. Argh!!
I need to have the back lawn mowed, as well as a little bit on the side of the house. I paid a kid in the area $20 to mow it but I never got his name (stupid me), so I don't know where he lives.
Anyone know of someone I can contact for one or two mowings for around $20 each? I don't need anything else done... just mowing. I have no idea when I will get the mower back, and supposedly Home Depot doesn't know either.
#1 - Don't take your mower to Home Depot for repair. There is a guy out of Round Hill by the name of Ronnie Fox who runs a business called Sharp Blades. He will come perform service for you on site. He is great with the equipment, very afforadable, very responsive and extremely honest, great guy to deal with. For anybody in Loudoun County who cares about their mowing equipment, I highly recommend him -- has kept my John Deere lawn tractors at peak operating condition. His number is 540-338-3408.

Hi, thanks so much for your reply and very helpful advice. I called both men for the lawn mowing and Donnie was the first one out there, and he said he'd mow this week and next. Both men were respectful and courteous... Donnie just happened to get there first. :-)
And the next time my lawn mower breaks I'll contact Ronnie. I definitely won't be taking it back to Home Depot.
