New to Virginia

We have purchased property in southern Virginia (near Stuart) and desperately need fast-growing shade trees. Can someone offer suggestions?
Thanks!

Keep in mind that fast-growing quite often means short-lived and/or easily broken in storms.

See link for some ideas; I know nothing about the company, but the pictures are good!

Here is a link that might be useful: fast shade trees

Hi lost, your best bet is Liriodendron tulipifera- tulip tree or tulip popular. A good native for you.
