Looking for farm land/garden plots to rent

I live in Alexandria and want to find some land to rent that's not too far away from the city. I plan on growing some crops to start a new business on the side. I have found a page that lists land for rent in Faquier County, but I was hoping for something somewhat closer. Calvert and Charles County in MD would be ideal! Like everyone, I just like to avoid 95 if I can help it. Does anyone have any ideas or any places I can go to find what I am looking for? Thanks.
