batface cuphea

I was given a batface cuphea that has done so well this summer. I know it is not winter hardy but was wondering if anyone knows how I can "preserve" this over the winter so I can place it in the garden again? Collect seeds (and if so, how) or take cuttings and bring indoors or even pot up and bring indoors? Has anyone had any experience growing Cuphea plants before?
Thanks

I have had it reseed when planted in the ground. They are very available these days in the spring at most nurseries, so personally I buy new each year. It likes it on the warmer side so I don't know how well it would do if brought indoors other than in a greenhouse.

Good luck!
