Lewis Ginter Plant sale

Just wanted to let all zone 7 Virginia gardeners know about the big fall plant sale at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens on 13-15 September, 2007. We will have some hard-to-find plants at decent prices.

| I just got back from there ... I was worse than my husband wanted, but much better than I wanted to be ;) I came away with my 2 prize finds, a white berried Beauty Berry and a red Camellia sinensis (tea camellia) as well as a creeping sedum my 3 year old picked out, an anemone and a pot of purple love grass. I wanted the big pot of purple/pink muhly grass that I saw, but for another $20 I had to pass. Maybe next year. -Bonnie |
