Fall planting of Crape Myrtle ... types? local sales?

| Any suggestions for 2-3 Crape Myrtle that will provide shade on our 2 outdoor a/c units? (West side of house)
Also ... when are the fall sales for Betty's & other nurseries in Fairfax County? |

| Craven's Nursery has been having sales for several weeks. Was last there 2 weeks ago and bought a little gem magnolia in bloom for $30 and a sunset big sky echinacea for 50% off. I forget how much that was. As I said that was a while ago, I don't know what they have left. The neighbors have dibs on my young crepe myrtles or I'd offer you one of those. I never thought of shading an air conditioning unit. Does that make it last longer? |
