Did anyone else here go up to Afton for Edible Landscaping's Persimmon Festival? There was a table laid out with all their different cultivars of oriental persimmons for folks to try. There was persimmon pudding and persimmon ice cream and persimmon cake. We went on a tour of the orchard and had more persimmons right off the trees also hardy kiwis hardy pomegranates che fruit and jujbe. Check out ediblelandscaping.com if you haven't already.

I was planing to get a sheng astringent persimmon to add to my collection but I couldn't resist the pomegranate from Turkmenistan.

It was our first time checking out Edible Landscaping- heck of an operation! I'm definitely going back in the spring, probably with an enclosed trailer.

Sorry I missed it. How did you find out about it? Any other interesting finds? Hank
