| This Christmas we gave our son the book "REMARKABLE TREES OF VIRGINIA" by Nancy Ross Hugo of Ashland. Mrs. Hugo has written gardening articles in the Richmond Times-Dispatch newspaper and in Virginia Wildlife magazine. A former teacher, she continues to hold workshops and is involved in the Lewis Ginter Botannical Gardens in Richmond. She has written another great gardening book, "EARTH WORKS." If interested in taking a glance at what these books are about, you might go to Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble, or perhaps eBay to find more information. I enjoyed reading the customer reviews on the Amazon website. This is a book with great photography and her always-very-readable writing style. I'd recommend you perhaps put one or both of these books on your birthday wish list! And if you want to contact your local public library and request that they purchase the book, it would be available for you and others to read. Great books, both. My son just loves his copy. |

| I saw her book when I was at Nancy's Flower Camp in October. www.flowercamp.org The book is gorgeous - she spoke about how amazing some of these trees are. |
