When I started vermicomposting there were some small fruit flys. They stayed near the system. Then the small ones were gone and there were bigger medium sized ones. Now the medium sized ones are gone and there are bigger (smaller than house flys) fruit flys. It took time to get here. Do I get points for having the biggest fruit flys? How can I get back to having the tiny ones again? As it got colder they seemed to change varities and get bigger. They stay right at the vermicompost so are not a problem.
