My son made a bin for me from the instructions on ( cheap and easy worm bin.com). It's a good way to turn your kitchen wastes into organic fertilizer for your flowers and plants and also supplies worms for fishing if you want.

Bentley at Redworm Composting has a very nice how-to available. He only asks you sign up for the newsletter. The sign up process is pain free and the guide is very informative and well written.
