Follow-up to Sbryces post

For some reason, I could not post back to back replies to the same thread. So here is my clarification that was intended to the thread on what on the list not to feed worms.

Just read my own post and saw I wasn't clear. Here is the scenario... Two riders decide to take the bike path. Horse #1 was dewormed the day before and drops a load on the path. Horse #2 hasn't been dewormed for a few weeks. He drops his load a little further down the path.

Along you come with your bucket looking for good stuff to feed your worms. One of your bins gets the majority of horse #1's droppings while the other bins get their food from the other horse.

The gnats were faster to the manure than the worms and started reproducing. You saw them and sprayed, eliminating them but not hurting the worms. About this time the worms are just getting well into the dosed manure and start dying.

I might be totally off base but the scenario accounts for only one bin having the effect and the time line.
